MMC Stock Investment Plan

Challenge: A campaign was created to introduce Marsh & McLennan Companies (MMC) new stock investment plan to 35,000 current, retired and past employees. The primary objective was to inform the employees about a lucrative financial plan that could help both them and their families. MMC provided strict branding guidelines ensuring consistency in their brand.
Solution: The campaign was introduced in three phases. The first phase was a direct mail introduction which included a half page pamphlet in a designed envelope. The second phase was a 6 panel newsletter overview. The third and final phase was an investor's kit. The investor's kit included an investment guide, plan summary, transition guide and 17 fund fact sheets. All the pieces were original designs with complete brand consistency. Although only 3 colors were allowed for the brand, combinations of those three colors varied to gain more originality throughout each piece. Custom copywriting, original die cuts and Stock photography helped strengthen each piece of the campaign. All pieces were printed 4-color pantone, on Domtar Fealtweave Carrara White paper.
Result: Survey results show 57% of employees used the investment plan within the first month of availability. The campaign was awarded the IRIS Award of Excellence from NJ/IABC.
