Paul Kiesche, President and Creative Director of Paul Kiesche Design believes strongly in fostering the growing talent among young children. As a result, Kiesche volunteers several days out of the year to lectures at schools for children.
In April, Paul was asked back for the second year in a row to help teach a workshop at the Learning Carnival, in Morristown, for New Jersey Gifted and talented Students. Paul teamed up with Bonne Cytron and Barbara Platz the Learning Carnival Coordinators, to make the 2006 Learning Carnival an event to remember. Paul instructed three separate workshops in fantasy illustration. Gifted and talented Students, ages nine to thirteen, were instructed on the illustration process, the procedure of painting, and various drawing techniques. |

The theme of Kiesche's workshop was Fantasy Drawing. The students were encouraged to make their fantasy's come to life on paper as they referenced Paul Kiesche Illustration's custom photographs. The valuable techniques some one hundred and thirty nine students, from fourteen school districts, learned were certainly invaluable. They are sure to remember and utilize the skills demonstrated for a long time to come, or at least until Kiesche returns again next spring to teach some more illustration techniques. "The talent shown by these children at such a young age is incredible and I'm proud to help nurture that talent in hopes of seeing these children turn into professional artists some day." said Paul Kiesche.
